BE The Change is a three-part documentary series detailing the unique story of Minneapolis North High School. Amidst shutdown due to low attendance, renowned basketball coach and mentor to many, Larry McKenzie, stepped into the head coaching job at North High. Throughout the series we learn how McKenzie was able to be the change in the players’ lives and ultimately help turn the trajectory of the school around.

The history of the North High community through first-hand stories (past and present) along with the importance of fashion and basketball at the school. The episode walks through the rise and downfall of the school leading into the entrance of coach Larry McKenzie.
